Description
The list provides information about this disease and names the bodies of water where PKD (proliferative kidney disease) had been detected in fish. The diagnosis is based on the detection of the causative agent in histological slides (prepared at the centre for fish and wildlife medicine - Zentrum für Fisch- und Wildtiermedizin). The list reflects current knowledge on the spread of the disease. It is continuously updated.
