Description
The Swiss Saltworks cover the entire demand of Switzerland for de-icing, industrial and table salts. This dataset shows the active and decommissioned mining and production sites. It forms part of the Resources Information System of the Georesources Switzerland Group, a database of mineral resources in Switzerland.
This dataset can be visualized on visualize.admin.ch.
